Vacancy Description

Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Officer

South West Surrey

Salary £32,504 to £37,990 + £1,239 essential car user allowance, per annum

Are you looking for a role where you will help to deliver the infrastructure needed to support growth?

Do you want to be part of an experienced and enthusiastic team?

Are you looking for a role with variety, where you can be relied on for your expertise and experience?

You will sit in the Planning Policy Team with other officers including Planners helping to implement Local Plan Part 1, progress Local Plan Part 2 and support communities that are preparing Neighbourhood Plans.

Do you have a degree in Planning or a related subject with Full Chartered Membership of the RTPI? Do you have a keen knowledge and interest of the planning system, particularly in relation to CIL?  In this newly created role you will use your communication, organisational and IT skills to ensure that CIL is implemented in Waverley, with processes and systems put in place to help monitor levy funds collected and spent.

You must be willing to take on a new challenge, be meticulous in maintaining accurate records and able to manage your time to deliver tasks to a high standard and on time.

This post is a full time role. However, all applications will be considered.

For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Ian Motuel, Principal Planner (Policy) on 01483 523458.

We do not accept CVs without a completed application form. Strictly no agencies please.

Closing date for applications: 9:00am on Tuesday 3 April 2018.

Interview date:  Tuesday 10 April 2018.
